How to Start with Robotiq.ai

This article shows you how to get started with Robotiq.ai Headquarters (HQ). You'll learn how to get into HQ, understand user permissions, and begin making your first automation processes.

What You'll Need

  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). Internet Explorer won't work.
  • An invitation from your Organization Admin to log in to your Robotiq.ai HQ.
  • Access to a department in your organization to create processes.

Getting into Robotiq.ai HQ

Robotiq.ai HQ is a web application. Every organization has its own unique web address for its HQ.

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Go to your organization's specific HQ web address.
  3. Log in with the email and password your Organization Admin gave you.

Understanding User Permissions

To create a process, you need to have access to the department where you want to build it. You get this access by being part of a team assigned to that department.

  • If you don't see a department after being invited, contact your Organization Admin. Ask them to add you to the right team.

For Organization Admins

If you're an Organization Admin, follow these steps to set up your environment:

  1. Create a new department.
  2. Create a new team.
  3. Assign the team to the department.

Starting Your First Process

Once you've set up your user access and permissions, you can begin building automation processes.

  1. Download the Development Robot.
  2. Install the Development Robot on your machine.
  3. Start making your automation processes.
