Robot Monitoring Tool

To have the option of remotely updating your robot to the latest version without going through the VM, you will need to install the Robot Monitoring Tool. However, to use this option, you must provide the admin username and password during the robot installation process.

To download the Robot Monitoring Tool (RMT), navigate to Settings, select Robot, and click the "Download RMT" button. Follow the provided instructions to complete the download.

Once downloaded, double click on it, and open the installation Wizard.  We recommend using Chrome browser for .msi download.  If you have some trouble starting .msi from “Recent downloads” card in browser we suggest you go in Windows user downloads folder where file is placed. 

Typical location for this folder is:  C:\Users\{Username}\Downloads\

Start RobotiqMonitoringToolSetup.msi Wizard by clicking “Next”

Accept the terms in the “End-User Licence Agreement“ and click “Next”.

Choose the installation folder and click “Next”.

The following dialog will be opened. Press the "Install" button.

Now click “Finish”.

Now restart the VM.
