DevelopmentBot Update

The latest version of robot was successfully released as part of the production deployment. This update brings enhancements and improvements intended to provide a more stable and efficient development experience.

Post - release impact

Robots running version 3.0.7554.0 and above are now required to use the latest available version of robot. Robots that are not updated will no longer be able to use DevelopmentBot functionality.

Unattended mode will continue to operate without interruption, regardless of whether the update has been applied. However, to ensure full functionality and compatibility, updating to the latest version is mandatory.
 

Before using DevelopmentBot

After updating the robot to the latest version, you must enable the Use latest DevelopmentBot functionality by setting the toggle to True. This step is required to access and use DevelopmentBot features.

Once enabled, DevelopmentBot will be available for use in the Development stage.

If one of the following screens appears, it most likely indicates that the robot has not been updated to the required version. In this case, DevelopmentBot cannot be used, and running processes in the Development stage will not be possible until the robot is updated.

Compatibility with older versions

Robots running versions older than 3.0.7554.0 are not affected by this change, as they continue to use the legacy port-based functionality. If this approach is used, the latest DevelopmentBot option in HQ must be set to False.  
Despite this, we strongly recommend upgrading all robots to the latest version to benefit from the latest improvements, ongoing support, and future compatibility.
